Update: We’ve pushed back the changes a few days. We’ll let you know when we take another run. Thanks for your patience.
Starting Thursday, we’re doing a little remodeling to adn.com.
Readers shouldn’t notice a ton in the way of visible changes. Most everything will be where it usually is. The bulk of the work is behind the scenes. Our hope is it will improve the experience for readers in the long run — and enable us to do more robust online journalism going forward.
Like any remodel, there might be a bump or two as we do the work. We’re asking for your patience. We also want your feedback. See something missing? Tell us. Have a suggestion? We want to hear it.
Among the new features: A much simplified site navigation menu. A few features will be temporarily offline, including story comments on the opinion articles. They will return. Once we get the initial behind-the-scenes changes locked down, expect additional changes in coming weeks and months.
Users of our mobile apps shouldn’t see any changes.
If you come across any glitches or have feedback or suggestions, let us know in the form below this article.
As always, thank you for reading and thanks for your continuing support.
